My name is Kaila and I'm an instructional designer and educator passionate about creating engaging, accessible learning experiences.

At University of Wisconsin-Parkside, I develop and teach work-based learning courses that help students connect career development with critical reflection. My work has earned national recognition, including the Society for Experiential Education’s Rising Leader Award and a Brandon Hall Silver Award for global accessibility standards.

I co-authored Equity in Experiential Learning: Work-Based Learning as a Viable Alternative to Internships and hold a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from UW-Stout.
Beyond higher education, I serve on several community boards, co-facilitate leadership programs, and stay active in the arts as a musician and theatre collaborator.
